Default engine pics

does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the block??? I would like to see what it looks like inside. I have seen a c5r block and want to be able to compare how much is different.

if you are talking about the short block (minus the intake and heads), it is the same, wont be able to see the difference. Why is it not different, b/c it is cheaper to make 1 block 1 year rather than building two. However yearly there are a little differences. If you got an 01-02 ls1 you got an ls6 block.

Boo Ya....

What exactly is your point?

All these blocks look the same from the bottom. The Vette and the F- body have different oil pans. Thats all there is to see. Pull your pan and get the camera out.

SORRY, you DO NOT have an ls6 block for 01-02. they valley is diffrent (pcv line) and i beleive the color of the block is slightly darker on the ls6. i my wrong about with my examples but i do know there not ls6 blocks
