Oil Consumption
I did a cam swap as well as springs retainers and seals change on my 2005 Corvette and i had to go back and put a oil ring on my oil pump because the original fell off and i was unaware that it had came off. I didnt run the car to long. During this time it had about 8-10 psi at idle and 40 psi when at 70mph. We got that all taken care of and everything ran fine, plenty of oil psi. The car has 2000 miles on it since last oil change and its already a quart low. Does anybody have an idea what it can be? PLEASE HELP!

I agree...any time you run the car over 4000 rpms it'll suck oil...
I bet with your new cam your enjoying the power..
A quart at the track is normal which is why gm recommends over filling the oil on track days..
If you're revving it high enjoying the power even on the street you'll use oil.
A quart every 800 miles or less on the street during NORMAL everyday driving would be a concern...
A quart every 2000 miles is a dream come true.
Enjoy the car.
