I called GM yesterday, and they came back with
"we SHOULD be shipping any day now". No kidding
I wish we could get real promise times from GM,
the last date was the 16th which has come and gone.
Hopefully they will be shipping soon, but don't hold your breath.
I check status daily and I will post updates as I get them.

SDPC said in another thread that GM should have been shipping them some last Friday so they would have some to send this week. I'm still hoping that happened...

We've been in contact daily with THE man at GM who handles these lifters and he said they have already started shipping to us. We should have them any day now!

I just hope GM doesnt rush things under pressure and end up sending out parts that are found to be bad in 6 months. Are these lifters in use on any production car yet? I know the race team used them.

Better oiling and improved (higher) RPM abilities, up to 8500 I believe.

GM received the lifters and are shipping them. They didn't lie to you, they simply missed their projected ship dates due to the suppliers of these lifters. Again, if you're in too big of a hurry to wait for them, feel free to call me and I'll either get you LS7 lifters, Comp lifters, Crane, etc...or I can cancel your order all together.

Here's the deal: They had been stuck in customs when someone inverted two numbers on some sort of ID number for GM. That was earlier in the week and GM has received them. We expect them anytime....with luck today...without...early next week. Again, sorry for the delay...I'd whittle them out of beach wood for everyone if I could!

Matt,

Beach Wood Lifters? This is new........ Is there a part #? I bet they would be lighter, but would they support dual valve springs?

Guys, the wooden pushrod thread is on another page in this forum. You might get a better response posting in there.
