Default New best! 7.58 @ 90MPH

I ran a new best tonight at Mooresville Dragway with my used ET Street Radials I aquired.

I pulled 1.6x sixty footers 11 of 13 passes.
9 of my 13 passes I went 7.6x @ 89mph

I was very surprised by how consistent my car was. It absolutely bone stock suspension wise, other than the front sway bar being off.

Timeslips for my two 7.58 runs:

Reaction: .047
60': 1.63
330': 4.88
1/8: 7.588
MPH: 90.499

Reaction: .-356 (red lighted)
60': 1.65
330': 4.87
1/8: 7.583
MPH: 90.181

You were running that cam only with a LT1? At full weight with most/all options? That is pretty damn good then.

That is far from " CAM ONLY ". Good time for those mods though!

the only power adder is a cam...hows that not cam only...should i say cam plus SOME bolt on's? still on stock t/b, stock injectors, stock heads and intake, stock 10 bolt, very mild daily driveable stall, no underdrive pullies, with nitrous plugs in it...i could have easily gotten it to a 11.5 on a mail order tune and daily driveable setup but i decited to go fast...
it stills not faster than the bolt on record...and surely not as fast as the cam only record at 11.2

Funny how you're the only one who thinks cam only means no other boltons...

Bolt-ons are a given when modding a Car. When I hear mods, I expect full modified Intake/Exhaust setups.

yes merv...thats franks cam only car...stock heads and bottom end...think its a bret bauer cam...
not to brag but a dynotune might have helped me with the other bolt ons above....and maybe a 4500 stall and 4.10 instead of 3.73 and i think i could been there with an off the shelf cam, i think he has alot of room to improove...think its only time beofre """"""cam only""""""""" (lol) lt1 in the 10's

That's a fast LT1, but it can be done..
Just the money to do it will be easily twice that to do it with a LSX Engine..that's newer technology for ya. I am shooting for 10's on my new setup when it's done, all motor. It will be close, that Engine will be making some stupid power..
