Default T-Rex cam help

My friend has a 99 TA and he asked me to pick out a good cam for him. My question is with the trex do you need to change lifters RRs pushrods I know that springs you do have to change. He told me that he wants a cam only car i have only read good things about the trex cam or would you guys recommend a better cam that makes more power and better track times.

I ran a Comp Cams XER grind 236/242 .601/.610 114lsa. I have a 4400 stall, I picked up 10rwhp going to a TRex. 10rwhp through a 4400 stall unlocked is a pretty big gain if you ask me. My TRex is drivable, makes great power throughout, and idles like something sick, and should be illegal. This cam is still choppy at 1500 rpm! haha

Cam requires upgrades to the valvetrain. This is what I have, but it isn't entirely necessary you choose the same ones, just ones on par with their performance.
1.) Comp Cams hardened LS1 pushrods. (I ran a stock length, but some run a longer one I think since the cam has a smaller base circle. Call Thunder Racing and see what they think,)
2.) Comp Cams 921 Spring kit. Includes: Spings, seats, seals, retainers, etc.

That is it. No aftermarket rockers either, I am running the stockers.
