Default need a lil cam advice

hey guys i have a 00 ss with LT's ORY LID and fra. i want a cam that will get me as close to 400 whp as possible without having to change the valvetrain a hole lot. o yea and i want it to be streetable, thanks 4 any help- Blake

Blake,

400 rwhp with just headers, cam, lid, and with good street manners is a mighty tall order. And you'll really want to go ahead and get some good valve train parts to support which ever cam you deicde on, your engine's livelyhood will depend on it.

What kind of use will your car see? Track only? Daily driver and track? Weekend cruiser and track?

I am making 400rwhp cam only with the torquer 2 (232/234 .595 .598 113lsa).

I like my 224/224, it is streetable. From everything I have read with any cam swap a good set of springs/rods is pretty much a must. Spending alittle more time and money now can save alot of time and money later.
