on a 98 Z28 what pin # on the ecu is for the tach signal. and what color is it

it is white and I'm 99% sure its the #10 pin

On a 98 I'm pretty sure it a WHITE wire coming out of PIN #35. 99-02s have the WHITE wire coming out of PIN #10.

Are you sure you're looking at the BLUE connector at the PCM and not the RED?
