Wax causing water spots?
This sounds a little crazy...
But I have noticed ever since I started waxing my car, and now my girlfriends car, that if the car gets rained on when it has a coat of wax, the water dries and leaves the car with a polka-dotted water spot paintjob. It just seems to be much more noticeable when there is wax on the car versus none. The spots also seem really dusty and can usually be wiped/washed off.
I am using NXT Tech Wax.
Does the wax actually have something to do with it?
Or am I losing it? It's possible.

Deeeefinatly the case lol... Its just the fact that you are getting good beads now... and they sit there... My beads are like... the size of quarters and up... so today for example... I went out to see how it held up to last nights rain and it was a polka dot monster... Dust dots all over it from dirty rain evaporating off of it...

there is...put it in a garage...but if thats not an option, youre kinda stuck...its far better on your paint though, and whether you realize it or not, youre doing the right thing. if you catch it while its not getting beat on directly in scorching heat, just take a damp chamois over it and itll look pretty good.

My car sits in the garage anymore. It's my girlfriend's car doing the same thing right after we did a full detail (wash, claybar, wash, wax) that sparked this thread.
It just looks so bad compared to all the other cars out there that aren't cared for like ours
