This spoiler looks nice, probably reduces the drag coefficient from 0.31 to 0.80, but very nice and aggressive looking. It would have been nice if for a 2003 refresh, shame on GM for giving the Bird/camaro the axe. One is for sure to return, maybe the bird will right behind it. What do you all think?

I saw a really wide looking Camaro, it was black so it was hard to see at night, with very wide rear wheels cruising around downtown on a sunday evening 2-3 weeks back. It had a really big spoiler on the back, I thought it was custom work until I found out that a vender sales a 3 piece duck tail spoiler like the one above for Camaros. Also, I saw a guy name demonicbird on here with no spoiler I was wondering did he ever put something like this on his TA?

those a special edition vehicles... never produced or sent to after market. The 'camaro was most likely a dick harrell edition... forgot what they called the bird.

yea and its actually really really simple. The lines already fit, it lines up like a medium quality spoiler meaning you only have to do minimal prep and stuff. theres a guy on here with a black 96 formula who did it to his and has the write up on cardomain. I started a thread like this a while back and hes in my thread so do a search and you should find it. Or ill look later when i have more time i g2g now

I was debating on rather i should make one out of fiberglass like that. Looks really simple but i dont know. I like it and it would be way more functional then the stock one but i have no time anymore. Its still on my to do list.

Can't wait to see what it looks like.
I think that spoiler looks a little bit better on T/As than Camaros, the spoiler looks too high on Camaros.

Both look good but either they are not the same spoiler or the white has nurmerous hours of more work in it. The white one actually stands more vertical than the black one and actually follows the lines of the late 70's T/A and Z/29 spoiler. Other than that the white one is a 3 piece spoiler and the black is a 1 piece that hangs over the edges of the decklid to the contours of the quarters. Nevertheless they both look real good.

the black car spoiler is actually made for a camaro that the guys did some work to it to make it fit on a bird... its lower and the angle is wrong... the white one is made by GM and is the only one made only for that 2003 heritage trans am... hence why it looks like a 2nd gen trans am wing... the heritage wing is the nicest but nobody makes anything even close to it for a bird or camaro...

I think the 3-piece lip spoiler design with a 2nd gen look is essential to keep the Trans AM look. The '96 just looks like a Camaro. Not bad looking, but no longer a TA.
