I'm assuming you are asking what does the least damage or is the least likely mode to damage stuff.
Comp mode takes off TC, but leaves active handling. On just motor, I've triggered active handling when sliding out the *** spinning.
TC off...hold down button for 5s to turn everything completely off. You have no safety controls, and nothing will kick in to apply brakes.
