Default Heading down to Va will post pics when I return

Just got the call, have a package down in Virginia. I'm planning on leaving work in about an hour and going to pick it up. I'll post pics when I get back.

Check this **** out....
Pulled off I-95 to Route 17 south and decided to get diesel...
Pumped 16 gallons and went in to pay
Came out and my truck wouldn't start...finally got it started and it was running ROUGH
About a minute later a spanish guy came over and asked if I wanted to go to Purvis Ford, told him I was fine. Dropped the fuel/water seperator and no water. Fired it back up and still was running rough tried to drive it around and it just wouldn't go over 2mph. Idle was ROUGH. Finally pulled the truck to a spot out of the way. Dropped the water seperator and again no water. Called a flat bed and they were on the way... Went to get a drink from KFC and came back as the spanish guy was driving up he stopped again and asked if I wanted to go to Purvis ford to get a fuel filter. I fired up the truck again and it was STILL Running rough. I told the guy I was fine since I had a flatbed on the way. He leaves and I fired the truck up one last time and guess what, now the bitch runs perfect like normal.... Explain that.

Alot of our diesels have problems with the injectors and cam sensors. Haven't seen one of those "come back" though.
