Default ipod hook up question

Is there anything out there for a direct hook up to the stock radio other then fm transmitters. The reason im asking is it has horrible sound quality cd's sound so much better. I aslo have a nissan maxima with a bose system and it still sucks. Does any one have a solution other than buying a h/u with an ipod hook up?

thanks for your help everyone

There are adapters for the stock monsoon system that you can use to plug your ipod in.

I think this website might have a few.

You can also try that, I have the USA Spec one in my GAGT, and works awesome. It will also work in your Trans Am.

Take the factory radio out, plug this into the CD changer port on the back of the headunit, and plug your Ipod in and use your steering wheel controls to control your Ipod.

I just installed and am using this one in my Trans AM this year. I use the Aux input for my XM Sat.

Now I have way too many choices for music, AM/FM/CD/XM/I-Pod.
