oil pressure acting crazy,need help ASAP

Default oil pressure acting crazy,need help ASAP
I put pacesetter lts on my car last weekend,car has been fine until tonight when the oil pressure guage started acting crazy,it wont hold still and fluctuates bad,could the headers burned out the wire to the oil pressure unit or do I have bigger problems? what should I start to check?

the oil dipstick smells like gas,what would make it do that
