stock LS6. for real yo. it's the car that's lightweight which makes such a big difference. it is fully built specifically for that motor. imagine an LS7 in it!

That footage is featuring the '06 season. He's probably running a mandated cam according to series spec (my guess would be a GM cup cam) with an otherwise stock setup. Probably his LG proprietary headers dumped after an X. That's just my guess.
If anyone is seeing a strange line, you're probably commenting on the race line (which differs from the fastest line).
For all of you digging what you're watching, get into road racing!!!!

A couple years back when the ls6 first came out he was at texas world speedway. I asked him what was done to his z06 because it sounded incredible. He said Just full length headers, and Air filter to intake. I said thats it? He said, oh yeah and a tune thats limited to 7500rpm lol

As cool as it is to go fast in a straight line for 7-13 seconds, road racers get to hear those wonderful sounds, experience high g forces in ALL directions, and do this for sometimes HOURS on end!!

yeah he was just pulling them like ugly weeds. not only does that car probably weigh a lot less than those ferraris and porsches it just straight up makes more power. what is it about the rest of the world that they dont understand about the american V8? perfect racing platform!

Porsche won the manufacters championship in 2006, and Porsche driver (now Caddy driver) Lawson Aschenbach won the drivers championship. Speed GT series keeps the cars pretty equal by ballast added/removed depending on how they finish.

Eric Curran has been doing great this year in a Corvette, winning the first 2 races.
