Default Will C5/C6 vette accessories fit an LS7?

As the post title suggests, I'm retrofitting an LS7 into my '69 Camaro and need to assemble an accessory drive setup. Will the standard 'vette accessory drive system work? If so, does the damper need to be changed?

John B., I assume you would know this from your experience (tried to find it on your site, but your site claims that it is suspended when I try to chase the links to your swap info).

Thanks in advance for any help.

We used the C5 acc drive on the LS7 swap we did. Used the LS7 balancer.. Had to use an inch longer A/C belt though if I recall correctly..

F-body/GTO accessories don't fit on the LS7 without a custom balancer. I have one from ATI, but the A/C belt doesn't fit right. I'm still trying to deal with ATI on this. They also need an f-body water pump, as the one that comes on the motor has a pulley that's to short.

CTS-v accessories bolt up directly and have the same layout as f-body, just closer to the block. I've tried both of theses setups personally; unfortunately the CTS setup had issues with rack clearance in my frame.

The F-body accessories mount an inch or so further forward, hence the need for the custom damper and longer WP pulley. I've had good luck with 'vette acc drives on my '71 and on my wife's '55 Belair - I just didn't know whether the dry sump setup on the LS7 required yet another different mounting depth.

I may try the Caddy setup, although I don't like the look of the high-mounted PS pump ...

I ran a Meziere electric pump so the water pump pulley deal wasn't an issue.

Can an LS7 run an LS2/1/6 dampner?
