Default questions about swap, please correct me if i am wrong..

i have a 79 1/2 ton that is about to get an ls1 out of a 2000 SS. the motor has a mild cam in it, dynoing around 400rwhp in the car with the t56.

i am going to use the motor with my th350 and am planning on keeping the FI, just need to find a harness and PCM.

here is what i believe i am going to need for the swap, after browsing a few websites. please tell me if i am wroing or am missing something major.

harness: full harness out of 98-02 ls1, will harness out of a truck work also?
PCM: same here, looking for 98-02 ls1 PCM, but will truck PCM work too?
fuel pump: walbro or similar 255lph
coil packs: looking for 98-02 ls1, but have heard 6.0L are better?
tranny:hughes ls1 flexplate adapter to th350. that is is right?
tranny: manual valve body for th350
lengthened driveshaft
ls1 motor mounts

have also heard the tranny crossmember may need to be relocated, is this correct?

i know the a/c brackets need modifying because it mounts the a/c too low, and i may not run a/c in the truck anyway. it has the stock radiator, but i do have a 17" electric fan mounted already.

my biggest questions are about the tranny.

any help is greatky appreciated fellas

thanks

check out post 7 in this thread. Since you have a 2000 motor I would stay away from the 98 harness/computer that will only complicate things. Looks like you would also be better off using a LS1 f-body harness, but as far as I know you should be able to use either a 99-02 f-body or truck PCM. Fuel pump looks fine. I cannot confirm or deny on the coils though. For the trans adapter you can also go with the GM crank spacer and bolts. Why do you need a manual valvebody? if that is what you want it is ok, but if you don`t want it you don`t need it, the TH350 will work fine as an auto trans behind a LS1. If you are going to have the driveshaft lengthened make sure they weld in a whole new tube, not just extend it.
