Default car wont start

well this morning I went out to start up the car and when I turned the key over it did nothing, the battery and everything else is fine but after about a couple of trys I wiggeled the key a little and it started up so I killed it and tried again and it just did nothing. What does this sound like to you guys? Has this ever happened to anyone else before? If so what did it turn out to be?

The simplest guess would be loose wire going to the starter or ground.

If not, then possibly the ignition switch.

If the security light came on, it's easy....that "chip" in your key didn't line up right in the hole.
