So I installed....
A electric vacuum pump for my brakes and.....WOW is it awsome.
I only pulled like 11 inches of vacuum at idle and my brakes were pretty poor But now they are better than stock..lol I can stop on a DIME!!!!
How are your guys brakes with big cams?

Where'd you get your vacuum pump? I only pull ~12" of vacuum, and I've got SSBC 13" brakes on the front... they never fade, but they pretty much suck. It's impossible to invoke the ABS.

Its a Classic performance products vacuum pump that pulls 25inches of vacuum, I got it from summit racing. Right after my cam I noticed quite a difference in my braking (it sucked) so I figured the only thing I took away with the cam was vacuum. So it was either this or switch to manual brakes........And this worked great. I cant wait to do a nice brake setup (new rotors/calipers) to stop even better from the stock stuff
P.S. I would believe that the longer you open your valves the less vacuum you would create (bigger cam would=less vacuum) any more info appreciated...
