VERY easy to do, in the garage, with common hand tools. Basically all you need to do is support the motor with a floor jack, remove the motor mount bolts (one per side), undo the steering rack, suspension, brake lines, etc. Then, with a friend to help lower it, remove the six bolts attaching the K-member to the front subframe. Then install the BMR unit, bolt everything back up to it, and go get the car aligned!
It's definitely something that can be done by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge and enough common sense to not kill themselves working under a car

Yes, it's doable in a garage, but it sucked *** getting the lower A-arms back in! Also, once the new one's in, you'll be amazed at all the different places you can stick your hands to get bolts in. Alignment afterwards sucked. BTW, this should be in chassis/suspension...? One of the admins did a great write-up about this, I used it, and I think I found it in that forum.
