Has anyone put an LS engine into a B-Body Impala SS?

not many of them, lot of effort and cash to swap the LT1 to LSx. Much more cost effective to build up the LT1.

yea my buddy has an impala with the lt1 and i kept tellin him to do the ls1 swap and finally he went to check it out and he said they were askin a ridiculous amount and he would be without the car for 6 months

There's one around here that has one. It's really weird looking. It has leopard interior and a hydraulic system. It does have a LS1 and a procharger system on it though.

those cars are pretty damn expensive, and aren't losing much value these days
