Default Memory Seat Question

2001 C5 vette, no matter what i try the seats allways go back to the preveious owners settings, so please explane how to save them in there I set them how i need them, seat mirors and radio, and then hold down the button like say number 2. it blinks and then stops i thought this means it is set, but then when i use the remote (number 2 on the back) it still goes to something different./

any help please.

Maybe trying setting all three programs. Do 1 and 2 and then hold both together and completely erase all previous settings. Thats what I did and works great. If not then unplug the battery for half hour and redo it all.
