Car running cooler w/ heat extractors in the hood
I have a 4" VFN and man those vents in the back work! It got nice and hot today and I got stuck in road construction. When I finally hit the highway happened to look down and watch the temp gauge drop 10 degrees. This is an A4 with a 4K stall and it has always ran at 210. So what if I can't see the road over this thing.

Your factory temp gauge dosent work. If thats what your using to read temps, hate to break it to ya. And heat extractors at the base of the windshield dont work because that area is a known high pressure zone and air is being sucked in rather than sucked out.

I'm still using a solid lid so the ram air doesn't funtion and the lid is lower than the funtional ramair box so when you look through the ramair inlets you can see out the extractor vents.
No pics yet got pull it back off and paint it.
