Default C6 Z06 rims on a TA

Took a few pics of the new rims on my 01 WS6. Never been a huge fan of apperance mods, im more of a go > show guy, but a bent rim put me in the market for some new ones. 17's all the way around. Still a little undecided so any comments / criticism would be appreciated. Your not gonna hurt my feelings so give your honest 2 cents, whether it be about the rims OR the car. Click pictures for larger veiw, imageshack lowered the quality but you get the idea.

They look great! However, if you sold the 17's out back for 18's it would look even better. Im getting the black motorsport versions for my car as soon as theyre in stock.

they don't look bad... eh I would have got ws6 wheels over those. It may be because those rims look a lot better in a bigger size, the huge tire on it is def not low pro. IMO you should have gone 19's in the back and 18's in front. Not being rude, just providing the criticism you were expecting.

I like them, but I have never been a fan of vette rims or rims that don't have a big lip. I would have went with 18's though. With all that being said they look really good on your ride.

I think your wheels and whole car will look even hotter if you raise the back about 1/2 to 1" or lower the front. it looks like your already lowerd so raise the back. almost ever t/a i see including mine the front is taller than the back. I'll bet a little "rake" will help these rims look more agressive and you car will look faster. love the shade band!

Running 275/40/17s all around. They do the job for the street so i just got 17s since i had practically new tires all the way around that went on the stock rims. I actually had the back sitting about 2 inches higher last week, but put those springs back in becuase it just looked odd and not good at all. To much wheel gap.

I'm a sucker for the stock T/A and WS6 chrome wheels also. I wouldn't get anything else, but Skeels' car still looks great...

They don't look bad, just not my favorites. I barely even like em' on the vettes. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is about them that doesn't appeal to me as much as some others, but as long as you like them thats all that matters anyway.

Overall the car looks good, so more power to ya man. Do what you like to it & make yourself happy with the car.

Those are the wheels I have on my Trans Am. They are the best in my opinion but Im biased.

I have these wheels for sale a 17x9.5 up front with 18x10.5 in rear with a 295 series tire in rear here https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/725545-sold.html

I've never been a fan of Vette rims on TAs but surprisingly I think they look pretty good. I like the fact you went with 17s instead of a 18/19 combo. No place on an f bod imo.
