Default PSP Mount

Just thought I'd post up some pics of my new psp car mount =D.

Search google for "psp car mount" to find it. (the seller is a nonsponser)

It came with 3m tape but i went ahead and screwed it to the dash

I was looking at some PSP mounts also. I just don't think I'd screw into the dashboard though.

Wait, do you just have headphones hooked up to it? I thought you had it hooked up to the reciever via an AUX Input. Or do you?

Might as well drill another hole and run them wires.

Run those wires through the defrost vent. I ran my radar wires through the defrost vent down to the power point under the cup holder.

Damn technology sure is advancing with these little things! I would rather have my 7 inch in dash, touch screen, w/built in 6 CD changer and connect the IPOD to it...

The mount looks cool but I think it would have been a better idea to put a little suction cup on it and mount it to the windshield like every other GPS out there.

Just my .02

Based on how that thing angles and crap/area of mounting base - in his defense I guess drilling holes was actually the best option...(though I don't know how much it weights) -- at least it will have nav capabilities in the future also

doesnt waigh more than a 1/2 pound really, and the base has 3 axis of movement (side, tilt and turning) but the 3m tape just wouldnt hold up the psp when i floor it so i stuck it there now it can take all the torque i can throw at it

Personally, Id rather pay 1k$ for an indash nav unit w/ ipod video capabilities, than ruin a dash piece worth a few hundred.

hmm, last i checked....1k > "a few hundred"

to each his own. besides i didnt want to buy an ipod etc etc. plus the indash nav would block my vents which will have gauges in them. there is a meathod to the madness =)

edit: oh and who do you know with an ipod + in dash navigation. ok. now who do you know with a psp mounted? my thoughts exactilly =) just my way of spicing it up a little differntly

nah it slides right out of the mount. takes all of two seconds to take out and put under the seat/in the dash/in the console etc

I just dont think I would have done it

If you ever had to replace it you can always find another dahs from some young idiot who wrecked their car hehe
