How to post up pictures in threads???

How to post up pictures in threads??? Im nowhere near a newb, but have never had a reason to post up pics, so i dont know how. Would someone please explain the process???

If it is a .jpg, all you have to do is put image tags around it.
[IMG]xxxxxx.jpg[/IMG]
If it is saved to your computer, you have to uploaded to a site like imagshack.us or photobucket, then copy the .jpg into the image tags from there.

yeah go to http://imageshack.us and upload the pics from your computer and then just paste the url into hyperlink
