Why does my brake pedal go soft after hard cornering? After I take a corner hard, the first time I hit the brakes the pedal goes down a lot further than normal.
Checked my fluid level and its slightly below the max mark. Not sure what else it could be. WTF??

There is a phenomenon called "knock back".
It's basically the lateral play in the rear axles that shift out or in a very small amount. As the axle moves, it shifts the rear brake pad in, compressing the piston. Common occurrence with well worn rear brake pads.
A similar thing can occur if the front wheel bearings are really loose.

Happens to me all the time...you eventually get used to it and learn to tap the brake pedal to reset the pads.

The brakes are worn, and I guess so is the rear end if there is play in it. Since the fluid is the original, I should probably do a change also ( I know better, but just keep putting it off).

I experience the same thing but its only after a powerslide. I replaced the rotors, pads, blead the system and got steel braided lines and it still does the same thing. I really doubt there is any play in the rear as Ive got the rear suspension covered. might check my wheel bearings now tho...
