Dumb Question... I apologize...please help
My '01 T/A looks like a reagular T/A, but I work at a chevy dealership and I got all the codes for it of the computer one day for s#@* and giggles and WS6 was one of the codes listed. I'm confused? Is my T/A a WS6 in sheeps clothing?

This sounds like a dumb thing to ask but are you absolutely sure the code says WS6 and not W56?
If it is for sure a WS6... the previous owner most likely swapped out body parts before he sold the car, whether with a friend or for cash.
By the way.. it's not a dumb question, it is pretty strange!!

Well I was doing this all by memory and after jbuerke142 said to see if it said W56 I rechecked the codes on the car and on the print out I keep in the glovebox. I am a freakin' retard and owe you all an apology. It doesn't say"WS6" It says "WS9 - formula option". But the question still remains relavent. If my car is a Trans am, what is the WS9 formual option?

WS9 Formula Option means that you have a V-8. Firebird is a V-6, a Firebird with a V-8 is a Formula, Then there is Firebird/Formula/Trans Am. And then there is the WS6 option in addition to the normal Trans Am. All of them that have the LS1 would include the WS9 on the RPO code. Just means V-8.
