Default Pics of Fox Mustang and Chevy II conversions

Finally consolidating some of my pics into a photobucket page... Just click on the sub album of choice. Theres some good header shots on both cars.

Also have my current Chevy II wagon 'progress' or 'destruction' pics - lol.

Theres a great vid of the brown Fairmont wagon that made all the mags when it went on the power tour. I believe it's a VERY low 6.00 sec 1/8th mile pass. Dragging the bumper past the 60'.

Any questions - feel free to ask and I'll answer if I can.

Are you using a 4L60? If so did you have to alter the floor pan?

Thanks John!

Novas - both of those cars are long gone - to me anyway. The current owner of the Mustang does post here though. Yes we did do a 4L60E in the II, and yes we did have to alter the tunnel. It wasn't very difficult. Just used some 18 ga(maybe) flat steel and bent and welded. Looked great - and we still used the SS console, with a new T/A T style shifter.

QA1 K-member, that did have to be trimmed up some for header clearance - if I remember right. It's been over three years since I built that car.

The headers were MAC 1.75" primary 351W conversion LT's, with MAC LS1 flanges. Had to reroute one primary tube on each side. Maybe two on the drivers side - to clear the Flaming River steering shaft. Took several hours work on a lift to get them routed and tacked - then we pulled and welded them up. They turned out pretty nice though. I liked the ball seat collectors they had too. Much better sealing than just about any other collector made IMO.
