if I had a viper, I'd drop an lsx in it. I just can't justify running a gas guzzling engine when the same power can be obtained from a fuel efficent lsx. Drop a built lsx motor in your formula and i think you would be much happier than having an 8 liter moneypit.

Plus when you look into building a project like that Im sure money isnt a huge factor and gas mileage would be the last thing someone would be worried about.

I dunno. Like 6Techniques said, it doesn't carry that supercar mystique. I suppose to each his own, but for me the Viper just has an air about it that would kinda be ruined with an LSX. For practical purposes, sure. The LSX is a much more practical engine than the 8 liter v10 Viper, but it's not like the Viper's a practical car anyway. From my point of view, stick with the Viper engine and if you're dying for an LSX, buy a C6 Zo6 and mod the hell out of it.

^^^ You mean LS7 and I agree I think having a Viper is more of a status symbol, just like the Ferrari, Lamborghini, need I continue? And +1 on the C6 Zo6 handing some "status" symbol's their ***

V10 into a fbody?
Now that to me would be the ****.
I have drivin a 2004 srt-10, a modded 1996 gts, and a 1993 supercharged rt-10 viper(exhaust/throttle bodies/nitrous/lex windows/carbon fiber dash).
Vipers drive like **** and look like they were built in someones garage.
But the '93 is the fastest car I have ever been in.
