sorry
3. the ses light pretty much stays on.
the car sat at a buddie of mine shop for about 4 years, he put a set of heads on it and the customer never came too pick it up the car has a clean title. Ive driven the car for about 1200 miles and havnt had much trouble with it, I replaced the coil changed the oil and added a flowmaster chrome tips, removed the cat and added a moroso cold air kit.
If the car had a decent gear and stall it would be a ride but even with the 2.73 its still shocked me.

Some people go to get it fixed, and then get the phone call, Sir, it's going to be $x,xxx.xx to fix your car." And they never return. They know that they don't have that kind of cash, and they know that the car needs to be fixed, so the just don't bother ever returning to get it. They don't have to bother getting it towed home or trying to sell it.
Then the shop applies for a mechanic lien (I think that's what it is called at least.) After a certain amount of time passes, if the person doesn't pay there bill for the diagnostic work, or doesn't pay to get the car fixed and reclaim it, then the shop owns the car. Happens more than you would think at fix it shops.

Lasombra52 has it right, some people get a first call like on this car they were told it needed a water pump, Then they were told it needed heads a distributer and a full tune up. There bill snowballed. before you know it your bills 4 times what you were told. We had a mercades 520 compressor that was left at my shop over puting one.......one tire on it.
