Manual Boost controller hookup

Manual Boost controller hookup
Does this sound like its routed correct?
reference port on face of compressor housing to bottom of boost controller
and then
side port of wastegate to side port of boost controller
also hose from back of manifold to a tee with hose to boost gage, hose to top of bov and then hose to brake booster
Also does it matter how long the hoses are? Is there an advantage to having the boost controller closer to turbo and shorter runs to everything?

also I just noticed the instructions on the mbc say the barb that connects to the side of the wastegate should be mounted facing down, mine was not this way, could this cause problems making boost?
