Default Little red wire

If this an old issue to discuss I'm sorry.

I ripped the little RED wire on top of the alternater;can I go to the dealership for new 4 prong plug or do I need to start calling the juckyards?

You can get it at the dealership. It cost between $20-$30. They'll give you one with four wires. Just cut the ones you don't need..............

That's true!! What I don't like is the fact that you can not just pull at the wire out of the connector and repair it.

ive repaired mine twice ! use a little screw driver and push the terminal out the backside of the weatherpack connector is what i have done

I have already bought the connector from the deakership but, I will try what you said "thunderstruck" that way I can have an extra one ready too go. Thanks again for the help guys.
