Anyone made a wideband O2 rig?
Has anyone purchased the Bosch sensor and made a rig to read the voltage and convert it to A/F ratio? I am working on a car with a carb (!) and I want to use a wideband O2 to get it right. Not too excited about $350+ for the Innovate product. Any home grown solutions?

the sensors are cheap, it's the conversion box you're paying for
LC1 is around 200, that's the cheapest around I believe... but while cheap it's also a very good product

The LSU4 sensors need fancy heater control and
signal conditioning to work (accurately). I've seen
circuit diagrams and decided it'd be better to buy
than build.
You can find info on building your own wideband
on the 'net, most of it revolves around the older
and more expensive NGK / NTK sensor however.
Though I expect maybe competition has driven
the NGK sensor price down some. There were kits
for it. Maybe now there is something like that for
the Bosch, though the Bosch seems to be fussier
as the price of cheapness.
