Default LS2 swap into LT1 F-body

Really looking hard at this project.

Is it recommended to keep the LS2 wiring harness/PCM or would it be better to convert to the LS1 harness/PCM?

This was meantioned for the ease of getting injectors (upgrades if needed) compared to the LS2, I really dont know, I am more an LT1 person but ready for something different.

Any other good information woudl be appreciated. BTW, I have read Merv's thread and refer back to it.

I would put in the LS2, and run a Cable Throttle Body. There is a thread here to convert the LS1 Harness to run the LS2(Knock Sensors are in a different spot, something's different with the Cam Position Sensor also I believe..)

Fuel Injectors are easy, I got ahold of the EVI-5 Connectors, clipped the LS1's off of my Harness, and wired the LS2's in, that is the Fuel Injection that I have. All the newer Engines are running EVI-5 style now.
