My parts list, Camaro Z28 Ok, so it's been awhile i have wanted to post this up, this is the parts list on my 1970 1/2 Camaro Z28. ( True Z28 by the way, I have the protecto plate )
Engine / Drivetrain
-the 454cid has become a 491cid stroker-roller motor
-4 bolt main
-Closed Chambered Heads 3872702 ( 1966 Corvette 427 cid )
-Intake edelbrock performer 2.0 with 850 CFM demon carb
-new 4.25 stroke cast steel crankshaft
-Forged H-Beam connecting rods "floated & bushed wrist pins" w/ ARP 7/16 rod bolts
-Keith black Hyperutectic flat top pistons
-cloyes double roller timing chain set
-Melling oil pump
-Crane Roller 1.7 roller rocker arms
-Stainless oversized 1.880 exhaust valves
-stainless oversized 2.190 intake valves
-double valve springs
-chromolly valve spring retainers
-Hardened 7 degree valve keepers
-Heavy duty harmonic balancer
-Heavy duty flex plate
-ARP 7/17 rocker studs
-STD. Main, Rod, and Cam bearings

-Machine and install bronze valve guide liners
-Machine for solid teflon valve seals

-400 Turbo Transmission from Jasper Transmission. High performance class-3 racing transmission built with all heavy duty hard parts and shift kit.
-New tranny cooler
-Hurst Ratchet shifter being installed July 11th
-Rear gears changed from 4:11 to 3:73
-New richmond rin and pinion set
-Subframe connectors
-Power steering
-Front Power disc brakes

So that's the list that i have for this car, comments are of course welcome.. im trying to learn as much as i possibly can. My mechanic and family friend tried to persuade me to install a 100 shot.. Would rather not and upgrade the engine instead

What would you recommend when it comes to mods? What are the weak spots i should upgrade first, etc etc.. also out of curiousity what would be needed to procharge? I read a little about whats needed in the other section but with this engine do i need anything different.. What would be the best performance upgrade?
