how the hell are these things supposed to sit? im using the one marked with R on the passenger side and no more than 2 bolt holes line up at once.

No offense...but you do know they sit further back than the stock mounts right??? You will only get like 3 bolts in, and the 4th you will have to drill. And I think that was only one side. Also, its not hard to put them in oriented in the wrong direction.
Here is a picture of mine... The notch is the a/c notch in the front of the crossmember. I only remember having to drill one or two holes...the rest bolted right up.

the front Kmember SBC mount holes are not used.
one of the rear holes lines up with a previously unused Kmember hole.
because of this, you cannot use the spohn mounts on a non-stock kmember..

When are you gonna check the car out?? I promise after your first ride you are gonna need to mod your car...
You had a V6 RS...rode in my TPI car...wanted a TPI. Now you have a stock LS1 car..and you'll ride in my modded LS1 car...and you want to mod. Its only logical. haha.
Wnts2Go10O: Let us know how you make out with the mounts. If you are still have issues, snap a quick picture so we can see whats going on.
Mr.Dudes description was spot on from what I can remember.
