Default Finally going to get an SS!!

Hey guys, just a bit of good news for ya. Tomorrow I'm selling my '01 V6 Camaro and buying an '01 SS. Finally I'll be an LS1 owner. The SS I'm buying is Pewter Metallic outside, black leather inside, all SLP options, t-tops, all stock, power everything and only has 27,000 miles on it. It's been stored in the winters, is accident free with a clean CarFax, and the owner is asking $13,700.

What do you guys think? Sound like a good deal? I've already got a SLP Loudmouth Catback with Dual/Dual Tips sitting here waiting for it.

got my TA for 11k, but you are getting a good deal too. Congrats on the SS I went from a V6 stang to my TA so I came from a similar situation.

Not a bad deal at all, but I would offer $12,000.

Sounds like a great deal, but if he's asking 13.7 why not offer 12 and work your why up to 13 if need be. Any money saved can be applied to mods.

Thats my plan. Although right now I'm just going to do exhaust because I have to finish my Firebird before winter.

Like others have said......try to negotiate but do it quickly. Sounds like a pretty good deal with that kind of mileage/condition so don't risk losing it to somebody else. I'm a betting man, and based on the pricing I think your odds of getting it for 13k even is pretty good.

Good luck to you and post up some pictures as soon as you get that thing home!

Ok guys, we started working on the paperwork tonight. I test drove it earlier and I fell completely in love with it. I love it so much I don't care about the price much and I told him if he'd come down to $13,500 we'd have a deal. And he did without hesitation. It is absolutely immaculate, still smells new, handles great and has no squeaks or rattles. The leather still looks like new, the windows have already been tinted and they look amazing, comes with a fitted cover, and when I got back from test driving it, the odometer read 27,730. So within the next couple of days we'll finish the paperwork and by the end of the week it will be mine.

I'll post up pics of it after I get it and get my wheels and new SLP Loudmouth cat-back on it. I can't wait, I'm so excited I feel like a kid in a candy store!!

Congrats. Glad you got it. If you didn't let your emotions get the better of you you could of had it for 13K easy. Doesn't matter, its still a great deal. Post up the pic's when you get a chance. Good luck with it.

Ok, just a quick update. The paperwork isn't 100% final yet but she's sitting in my garage!! I went and picked it up tonight and brought it home using the plate off my V6. I'll post up some nice pics as soon as I get the chance.
