Default A/C question

I just fixed my A/C and it now works but is not as cold as it was. I filled it with cheap advance auto r134a in a can till i make sure of no leaks. will getting it serviced at a shop make a difference or is it a waste of money??

Thanks

Is it charged to the correct pressure for temp/humidity? Don't think the brand of R134a would make a difference.

a wire on the connector was rubbed thru and i removed the lines to more easily change spark plugs up top.
