Borla/Exhaust question
I have Loudmouth 1 and I'm thinking of full exhaust. I've heard Loudmouth with headers and catted and non y-pipes and I don't like the sound. You always hear the Mustang crowd talking about a "Borla Stinger". I wanted to know if this is just a XR-1 muffler or if it is something Mustang exclusive.

Try a search next time, been talked about many times. Its called Borla-Mouth and it helps a full exhaust car 100%, no more rasp and backfire..etc
Here is what it looks like:
The Borla XR-1 part number is 40085.
Peace,
Craig.

Thanks 02EBZO6, I was looking for the actual Stinger part number, I already knew about the Borlamouth deal but nobody ever really said what muffler to use.

No problem. Be careful when you configure your exhaust with these mufflers though. If you want it to sound like the vettes do that have this system, you'll want to run true duals with an x-pipe. I'm sure this helps to make it produce the crazy higher pitched howl it has up top. That and the placement of the mufflers will have the most effect on the sound.
I had the borla stinger system on my 02 zo6 I had. With an offroad xpipe in front of it, it screamed! One day I'd like to fab up some true duals with those mufflers. That would be so kickass.
