Default Coat Stainless Steel headers or not?

would it be worth it to coat stainless steel headers or would the price of the coating outweigh the benefits it would give me?

coating does help with heat and rust (some). the only benifit I see is it'll reduce heat. Stainless turns sweet colors over time due to heat. Blue, purple, black, gray. makes a cool pallet. IMO, I wouldn't worry about it. but that's up to u ya know.

He's right about that .... if your headers are 304 stainless

If there 409 stainless like SLPs, get them coated
