New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Are 5.3L Truck throttle bodies the same as 5.7L TBs

I think they are. The one on my ls1 LOOKS the same as the one on my 5.3

My LS1 TB is the same as the TB on our 98 Silverado, TBIsh 5.7. Except the pickup has the big plate blocking 20% airflow. Well, had...hehe

they are interchangeable and they are not the same. Some trucks came with bigger throttle bodies actually. You just have to find the years and models they came on. I believe the heavy duty/higher end trucks like the silverado and escalades that were NOT electroninc driven had the bigger 80mm throttle bodies.
