I have the quad tip version. I think it sounds good, very mellow but is not much louder than stock until you give it some throttle. Install was very easy also.

It's a nice system, and has been discussed hundreds of times on this Forum. Do a quick search and you will find more Magnaflow discussions than you have time to read. The Magnaflow is a very respected system and is generally regarded as being on the quiet side with stock manifolds and cats. It is well built, stainless, and affordable. Also, don't forget to check out LS1Sounds.com for some examples.

Its been my experience that LS1 sounds are not much help. I have the Magnaflow muffler only & was at first disappointed at how quiet it was until I put some 3" chrome 22" Bazooka's with slanted & rolled ends on it and they really woke up the sound. Now after going through a Super Turbo & the Texas Rumbler which was WAY too loud I'm finally satisfied with my exhaust .Oh , & I have stock manifolds & cats .

My dual tip version def does not have the rasp like the single tip version. It seems to be a tad quieter also but it sounds good with a ORY.

No offense but the tips would have absolutely nothing to do with Rasp.

I like the duel tips much better on Camaros. The regular tips looked like bazookas coming out of the rear. lol
