LT1 K-member on LS1 car
Just a quick question...
My buddy damaged his k-member in his 02 TA and needs a new k-member. I happen to have an extra LT1 k-member lying around. Would everything work if I just fabbed up new motor mounts? Is this possible or is there something else different in the K-member design other than motor mounts that I need to know about.
Thanks

You can do it. I have one with the LS1 mounts welded to it. I didn't do it a shop did and I am going to pull it out this winter when I go with a BMR.
Used K-Members are pretty cheap also...
