banging/knocking after strut install

banging/knocking after strut install i just installed new bilstein hds on my 2000 z28, and upon taking it out for the test ride the drivers side sounds like its banging around. I took everything apart again and found nothing wrong, so i put it back together and it still makes the noise. please help im out of ideas

I had the same issue when I first installed my HD's. Tighten down the bolt on top of the shock as much as you possibly can and the annoying clunking sound/vibration will disappear.
