Valve spring installed height
I'm installing a set of Comp Cams 918 springs and need a little more installed height. Using the stock retainers the installed height of the springs is about .760. I need to know how to get the height up a bit as there are no extra shims under the springs. Can I get offset keepers, if so who makes them adn which ones do I need?
Thanx

Do you have the integrated seals on your car or did you take them off and replace them with just a seal?

what cam? You can get away with installing them at 1.750" if you're running .600" lift or less. I actually recommend it if you have aggressive lobes.
If the're gonna break because you got a bad batch that will happen no matter where you install them.

I'm running a MTI Stealth II with .581 lift.

The real coil bind number for a 918 is around 1.080.
