98 TA headlight "ERRRRRRRRRRRR"
Like the title says, i have a 98 trans am. This problem just started last night. when I turned off the headlights, they pass side made a wierd noise that can only be electronically conveyed as "ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
also, whenever I use my keyless entry to lock/unlock, the headlights will open, close, and then the pass side will again go "ERRRRRR". Is this an indication that the motor is going out? or is there like a small badger or gopher stuck in my headlight?

i got a new motor and gear assembly for mine.. $100 off ebay. 100% brand new AC Delco part. The gear flip and gear replacement sometimes don't last all that long, so I went the pay me now route.

about a half hour. For anyone doing this, the only thing id say is to not manually put the headlight ALL the way up. it puts a little stress on the raiser arm and it gets good and stuck to the shaft. I beat on it for 10 min with a wrench and then just lowered it about a turn then it came right off

i've decided to go with the fulltime popup headlight mod. kinda like the look better too and now i can almost tell where the front of my car is. and just found out there's like a half cup of water inside one of my highbeam lamps
