Default SES light

I just had my clutch replaced at 59K miles. The exhaust now has a leak because the band clamp has streched where it is holding the bullet muffler in place of the resonator on my loudmouth exhaust. Well the very next day going up the highway the SES light came on. Can an exhaust leak cause that? The car runs perfectly fine. I am going to have my friend scan it tomorrow and see what code its throwing.

There is no way an exhaust leak waaaay back there on the bullet muffler will throw an SES light.

Could be alot of things, you just have to get it scanned. Just go to Autozone, or whatever is near you, and have them scan it. That way you don't have to wait on your buddy. Just make sure you write down the codes, then look them up here if they don't tell you what it is.

Peace,
Craig.
