Default EFILive Announces E38 & E67 ECM Speed Density Virtual VE table

Finally, a real speed density tuning solution for the E38 & E67.
No more Excel, no more math software, you get to Edit a real VE table.
In the E38 & E67 ECM the VE table is based on the calculations from the VE Coefficients (B8001, B8002, B8051, B8052). These tables are very hard to work with in raw form until now.

We have created 3 Virtual VE tables, 1bar, 2bar and 3bar (actually, 2.5bar).
Choose the VE table most suited to your application and edit away.

Here is our stock Corvette VE coefficents -

Not the nicest set of numbers to work with, but, this is what the VE table is calculated from.
EFILive now allows you to view those numbers as though you were viewing a real VE table (Like in the LS1 or E40 ECM).

So, as a simple demonstration, lets apply some smoothing to this VE table because it is a little bumpy in spots.
Also, take note of the checkerboard shading showing you exactly the 30 zones, and as you click on each cell you are also shown the RPM, MAP, Zone # and data value from the table.

Now, it's just a matter of clicking the Generate Coefficients button in the Virtual VE table and EFILive will calculate and populate the new VE coefficients for you -

Too easy!!
This feature will be released in V7.5 which is going to be avaible within the next 3 or 4 days as a free upgrade for all EFILive customers.

Cheers,
Ross
Excellent News here for EFILive users! This will also be a FREE update.

ls7 heads/cam, super charger tuning problems are now a thing of the past. I have used this several times and the results are amazingly accurate!

oh wow, so now tuning a ls2/ls3/ls7 ve table will be like an ls1? Just making sure I understand this... if so.

Just a little insight on this also. No Maf is needed anymore and now you will have no flat spots in the tune, no tip in lean conditions, more accurate fueling all accross the board, and you just put in the map sensor needed, fix the scaler, and then run the auto tuning proceedure with your wideband and efilive cable and then it tells you what you need to change and then you apply that change and be done. No Maf limit issues, No fuel injector size limits anymore ect.

We can add an addititional MAP sensor? and use this for any LSx ...i.e. LS1/LS6??

Very nice. I don't know about the "other guys", but HPTuners will be showcasing their solution as well very soon. EFI Tuning is only getting better.

Chad -Can you elaborate on the VE coefficients, i.e. what the heck is [MAP Intake]?
Are there MAP sensors in the intake runners sensing for intake and exhaust cycles?? TIA.

The VE coefficients are used in various combinations with other variables - such as RPM, MAP, intake cam angle and exhaust cam angle. The "Intake" in the MAP_Intake coefficient refers to the intake cam angle and MAP combination.
