Default t56 problems

im doing a 4l60e to t56 swap on a 99 silverado 4.8. i get everything lined up. the tranny slides in fine and hits a stop. the dow pins arent even touching yet but it is bottomed out. i tried to tighten it down and broke a bolt hole. the flywheel wont budge when i tighten the tranny bolts either. any suggestions?
any help is greatly appreciated.
if i cant get it today im takin it somewhere and havin it done. its a pita without a lift

are u sure the input splines are engauging with the clutch disc?

yea i pulled it back and u can see on the input shaft where it pushed in a few inches. i put some lubricant on it and it cleaned it off a few inches so i know it went in that far.

i guess i measured wrong.. the input shaft splines are already hitting the pilot bearing and i still need almost an inch.

turns out i had the wrong pilot bearing..
