weird problem
not sure if you guys can help diagnose this problem or point me in the right direction. but i noticed that last week i let the car sit for a week in the garage.. i went to fire it up and the needles reset them self (pegging and then coming back) also the trip resets it self. okay i let the car sit for a week. i drove the car yesterday parked it in the garage, went to fire it up today and it did it again.. reset itself.. trip and the needles pegged and went back to normal. sorry for run- on sentences. anyone? thanks in advance.

The '99 cars do that when battery voltage is low. GM issued a TSB on it to replace the gauge cluster but a new/good battery usually takes care of it.
